I'm posting my predictions, based on what i have read, of the final standings and playoffs for this NFL Season.

AFC EAST: --By far the toughest division
1. Patriots
2. Bills
3. Jets
4. Miami

AFC WEST: The only team, IMO, that has done well in the OS is Oakland, but…
1. San Diego
2. Kansas City
3. Oakland
4. Denver

AFC NORTH: Second toughest division, cause 3 of 4 teams are possible playoff teams.
1. Steelers
2. Bengals
3. Ravens
4. Browns

AFC SOUTH: I have no doubt that Indy will take this division
1. Indianapolis
2. Jacksonville
3. Houston
4. Tennessee

------------------------------

NFC EAST: The Eagles are set, Though Dallas, with how well they did in the draft, will be close

1. Eagles
2. Cowboys
3. Redskins
4. Giants

NFC WEST: Unfortunately, being a 49ers fan, I think Seattle will take the NFC West
1. Seattle
2. Arizona
3. St. Louis
4. 49ers

NFC NORTH: I think that it is the Lions year to shine, they are like the Cubs of MLB, they have waited patiently.
1. Lions
2. Vikings
3. Green Bay
4. Bears

NFC SOUTH: Atlanta will win, followed close by Carolina. (If the Panthers stay healthy
1. Atlanta
2. Carolina
3. Tampa Bay
4. New Orleans

AFC Play offs:
New England
Indianapolis
San Diego
Pittsburgh

WC: Bengals, Bills.

NFC Play offs:
Seattle
Philadelphia
Detroit
Atlanta

WC: Cowboys, Carolina.

AFC Championship:
New England vs. Buffalo

NFC Championship:
Detroit vs. Philadelphia

Super Bowl:
Detroit vs. Buffalo

SB WINNER:

Detroit Lions

(This might be a bit biased concerning the lions, but if you look at it, the packers are getting old, the bears are re-building, the Vikings lost a major, yet replaceable piece of their offense, the lions have picked up numerous Defensive players to beef their D up, and their offense is complemented by 3 top 10 pick WR’s…and a QB that if he ‘gells’, could be a major play maker.)

I think if Carolina is healthy, they will take the division. I agree with the AFC East and AFC north being the toughest divisions.

If this is the Lions year to shine, it seems like the right time to do so. That division looks like a toss-up, but if the Harrington plays well and the defense holds steady, then there'll be no telling how far they'll go.

Let me post my disagreements:

AFC East:  Bills last, but the rest in order

AFC West: Wish I could say Raiders first, but I think you got it

AFC North: Dead on

AFC South: Tennessee second, then Jacksonville and houston

NFC East: Giants second, and I dont care who is last as long it is one of the others

NFC West: St. Louis, Seattle, Arizona SF

NFC North: GB, Det, Minn, Chi

NFC South: TB, Atl, NO, Car

Playoffs?  Not a clue, but bengals will not be one of the teams!

AFC SOUTH: Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Houston

AFC WEST: San Diego, K.C., Denver, Oakland

NFC EAST: Philadelphia, Dallas, Washington, NYG

NFC NORTH: Minnesota, Detroit, Green Bay, Chicago

NFC SOUTH: Atlanta, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Carolina

WILD CARD TEAMS: NYJ, Baltimore, Dallas, Detroit

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis

SUPER BOWL WINNER: Philadelphia

Well I know I got some teams like Carolina, Green Bay, NYG, and Seattle finishing low but that's how I see it.

A Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia Superbowl would be great...but its gonna be Detroit coming out on the top...

I'd love to think my Pats are gonna take at least the AFC again... but with Johnson and especially Bruschi out of the picture... gotta say this NE belle is cautiously optimistic.

Just keep writing off the NYG... you might be suprised.

Just keep writing off the NYG... you might be suprised.

Is this directed to everyone in general, or just me? I couldn't possibly root for the Giants...

Well one thing in NYG favor is the NFC is weak. But I will be surprised if they do make the playoffs especially if Eli Manning's injured elbow is as bad as some people say.

Just bumping this up at midseason... for the comparative notes this will garner.

Well, there's always next season for Philly....

Ehh, I think you were closer than i so...have a cookie.... (or a cake?) Oh, and the bengals did indeed make it...although....with palmer getting hurt, henry getting hurt, and the....erm... 30-17 (was the score last time i saw it...) their season ended...but, they still did well...

Did anyone happen to hear about Carson Palmer's injury? I heard that it was extremely bad...nearly career ending.... (That would be...ironic.. (right word?) )
