I have a challenge to those bloggers here who are anti-bush...

The challenge is:

Name three instances when bush responded/acted effectively and/or correctly. (In your opinion) (i.e. 9/11, abuse charges,etc...)

Name three policies of bush's that (during his 2000 campaign) you agreed with, and state why (if you do ) you disagree with them.

Name three positive aspects of Bush. (Truly positive, not crap)

-Can ya do it?

Note: This is only for the anti bush crowd. And no using the examples given.

--I never said that everyone who dislike bush are morons,etc... Thos who are irrationaly anti bush. Col gene, Dabe, etc... They won't admit anything positive (as far as i have seen) about bush. According to them, he's always wrong. Does that sound rational? Or logical?

Well, from reply number three in this thread, it sounded like that is what you were trying to prove. Plus, a couple other forums I occasionally frequent had similar challenges, so that contributed to driving me over the edge. But whatever Dabe or Col. Gene write on their own blog is their own opinions, and they don't have to write about everything, or have to balance a pro-Bush article with an anti-Bush article. You don't see me demanding Moderateman write something good about liberals and saying he's some sort of crazed irrational moron if he doesn't. It's his blog, he can write (or not write) about what he wants. Same for Dabe and Col. Gene.

-I apologize for the misunderstanding...

I just don't see where they can call themselves reasonable,etc... They don't look at *both* sides...

No doubt... I understand that, i never said they HAD to. I was seeing IF they would/could. If they were capable, or if they just decided to ride high in the fact that they felt bush was "evil", etc... It was never a forced thing... (Not that i could do anything about it if they hadn't...)

Right, anyway... thanks for talking with me.

I can't stand most of what George Bush does but not everything he's done is bad. Most of what I agree with has already been mentioned. One thing that I think is brilliant that hasn't been mentioned is the plan to move daylight savings by two weeks. Its a great idea that will hopefully decrease energy consumption.

Well, I'm trying to prove a theory of mine. That there is no such thing as a rational, logical, intelligent anti bush person. IMO its all about hate, perhaps there is an underlying problem that creates their hate. Perhaps?

Just read any of col's or dabe's posts. Your theory will be confirmed in less than 5 minutes.

I agreed with the following:

Said we should not engage in nation building.

Said the most effective way to deal with N. Korea was with the help of Russia, China, Japan and S. Korea.

Said we needed to be more energy self sufficient.

I can not come up with ANY areas where I think Bush was effective.

He appointed some very skillful political staffers i.e Rove

He reappointed Greenspan

He appointed Powell.

Just look at the way Bush is in trouble. Almost everyone including the Republicans admit the wheels are comming off the Bush wagon.
