How do you handle telemarketers?

"Hello sir, have I got a deal for you!"
No thank...
How many get calls from telemarketers, sometimes at ungodly hours...? Well...I've handled them in the following manners:
"No thank you." ~Followed by hanging up.
"Ya know what, i am really interested, but could you give me a second. I have dinner on." ~Followed by leaving the phone and "forgetting" about it.
"Me no speak english" ~
It works...
"No-No. I have a great deal for you!" ~ I go on babbling about random "deals".
I hang up, as soon as i hear anything 'telemarketer-ish".
"Sure, I'd love to hear about the offer, but how about I call you back."
"No (sir or m'am) I don't need ______" ~Inserting a random, off the wall thing.
"So, you make how much doing telemarketing?"
"How you doin?" ~Yeah, from 'friends', but hey...it got drilled into my brain with my sister loving the show, and-it works.
These are the few i could think of at the moment. So, how do you handle telmarketers?

It seems to me that an awful lot of people are making a HUGE DEAL out of what should be a non-issue.
Exactly my point.
Most people who don't want LW to come back aren't really concerned with whether she violated the "rules" or not. There were a lot of angry words when she left, and its easier for her to stay away than to come back and people have to deal with her abrasive personality and what they've said about her...to her face so to speak.
Abrasive (IMHO) is an understatement.
Then there are those who just flat out hate her. For one reason or another they found themselves at odds with her and probably have enjoyed being able to post without having her making snide comments on what they have to say.
I never hated her myself...I can think of more than a few who just might.
I think another group of people who don't want her to come back are those who feel intimidated...meaning she could verbally assault like a pro...so a certain amount of fear plays in as well....though I wouldn't expect anyone to admit it.
Aye! *raises hand* For me...its not fear. Though, i agree that JU lost a big chunk...i am glad she left...as now, i really have little worry at LW being..."abrasive." Might sound a bit selfish,etc... but..

Couldn't they just block her?

The only one I'm getting hassled by is Guy. I've been blocked by 2 others, but at least they aren't starting problems with me every time I post.
All this has certainly been informative, but I think the less attention paid to his little outbursts the better, so I'm more than willing to drop it, letting Elindel Wolf and just john settle their own end of it in their own way. I stated this on just johns article too, so lets see what happens.
I wont be around for a few days, so enjoy your weekend everybody!

I will admit JU is more peaceful since LW left....BUT we def lost something, and I can't quite articulate it, when she left...something I personally think added to JU.
