a totalitarian state/world?
Published on July 10, 2005 By ----- In International
I have heard many people say that the USA is a totalitarian state....according to the definition, it isnt....

Back to subject.....

With the worry over a dictatorial/totalitarian state forming in the US, they fail to realize that the UN could just as easily become that...

1. A majority of the world's countries follow the UN....certain countries such as the US, and others have been known to defy it, and dismiss it as non essential (at times), others that are dictatorial have also been known to defy it....another would be terrorist groups, those type of countries/groups would be, by far, the hardest to sway...(depending on circumstances)

2. Mass Militaristic disarmament; its happening with Nuclear weapons,etc... Weapons of Mass Destruction are not only Nukes,etc... various others could just as easily be defined by the UN as such... One of the major movements in the world is peace....and as such, there would be a vast majority of support...

3. Mass globalization of currencies, so far it is the Euro in europe, their have been talks about similar changes in south america and asia....if there is one currency, the UN, or others could easily control the level of growth, life, strength, etc....

There are other things that could lead to a totalitarian state...i just wanted to start a debate about this...as i hve heard the comment made over and over again, and i wondered if those people realized that the UN could just as easily become that....

Yes, the UN could very easily become a totalitarian leader of the world. Fortunately though it has become such a mockery of idiocy and corruption that no one seems to take them seriously enough to let it happen.

Any group whose leader acknowledges that its agents are raping and molesting women in nations it is "helping" but says there's nothing he can (read "is willing to") to about it, is doomed to fail on its own.
