Not many know of the internal conflict going on in Nepal, it is a struggle between the formerly ruling Monarchy (still ruling but with great opposition) and Maoist Rebels. The Rebels have been fighting constantly, but even more so since the murder of almost all of the royal family Link

The 'Ruler' of nepal did create a parliment, a step towards democracy, but disbanded it, claiming that it was corrupt...

My thoughts:

I think there should be some intervention, yet very little has happend, such countries as India and the US have 'mentioned' it in the past, but have done little...are we to sit back and wait...
