Have you ever lost something and are really, really, really sure you put it or saw someone put it some place, only to go there to that place, and find that it wasn't/isn't there? I did that recently; I remember bringing home (or at least thought i did) my Dungeons and Dragons stuff and handing it to my mum; as i needed to grab my O2 Concentrator out of the back of the van. I grabbed the O2 Concentrator and took it too my room, plugged it in, turn it on, and swithced cannulas. Then, i went to grab the D&D stuff and put it on my book shelf so i wouldn't forget it the next weekend, only it wasn't there... I searched, and Searched, and searched, and searched..., I mean i must've searched the entire apartment 3 times, every spot, and still did not find it... I was at a loss, I was pretty sure it had gone to my mum, so, i checked the van, wasn't there. I went through the week, thinking and thinking about where i put it...I was dumbfounded, i figured; "hey, maybe it grew legs and walked away" (sarcasm)....turns out, tonight, after calling my friends house, he said it was on his dining room table, that i had left it there by accident, that i had gone to grab my O2 concentrator first, and forgot..................boy, i feel dumb....(for lack of a better term)
In other news.........yeah; well, i went to see the doctor who is (specializes in Lungs,etc...) helping me with my lungs, he said that he wants me to get some blood work done, check my blood gases (which means taking it straight from the arteries[sp?]), ouch!, i also have to get an EKG/ECG (don't remember which is which), a VQ scan, and an X-Ray...(i think there might be more...but don't remember them...) He said that if, by the end of october, there is little or no progress made, in determining the cause,etc... that he would reffer me to OHSU (Oregon Health and Science's University, located in Portland Oregon, i think its in portland)
Also, i heard from my cousin tawnia, she is up in (based in) pullman/polouse(sp) washington, and she has less than a year (to may 26th/27th...) until she is completely finished with her Vetrinary(sp) work(?), then she will be a Dr.! A vet! (she's wanted to be one since about 4-5) We are going up to see her graduation....haven't heard from my other cousin Kelly (Tawnia's brother, is at University of Oregon), last i heard he was working for his Doctorates (i think..., thats what he said he is planning on, not sure if it will be U of O that will issue it,will have to email him), (linguistic anthropology).....
Oh, and i found out that my aunt Chris (Tawnia and Kelly's mum) won a flight over and around Crater Lake and she can bring one other person, she chose me....i was shocked...my doctor (Dr. Pannosian, not sure what first name is) ok'd it, so i plan on going....i will bring my digital camera and take some pics, and post them here on JU.
