Hey Lucas, you have 2 Kansas States in the Big 12. You also forgot Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Kentucky in the SEC.

btw I'll bet you anything Toledo doesn't finish last in the MAC.

--I think toledo will place at least below 6th...but, the conference i am really focusing on (with my favorite team in it) is the PAC 10, USC is going to have trouble keeping its "crown", Oregon and Cal could easily topple USC, its been said over and over by every analyst i've read so far...i hope it happens (for Oregon that is) GO DUCKS!!! Wooh! BOOYAH! (the last 'cheer' is the cheer at my High School (graduated in june) )

-just wait 'n see, i plan on making some mid-season predictions...so check back, oh and check out my 9/11 article

Considering Cal was so close to the big game last year, I could see them being a contender this year for the prize.
on Aug 18, 2005
Uhm.....WYOMING??? They are good, but not that good.

BYU has a much better team than them. (it kills me to say that I'm a Utah man)

Air Force is always a contender along with New Mexico.

According to several scoutings by analysts at fox sports,etc... they could be a contender this year...its all about how the dice are rolled...

BYU, pffft!

AF is good, NM...ehhh

Cal is, the biggest threat (IMO) to USC this year, that doesn't mean that Oregon couldn't upset both, they play both at autzen stadium...which is considered one of the hardest places to play, and the loudest... It could be Oregon's year to shine (again, especially after the 2001 "Poo!" )

The hardest game oregon plays on the road is (i believe) Arizonia State... Arizonia, UCLA (Oregon doesn't play them), Stanford, Washington, and Wash St. are going to be "warm ups" (figuratively) this year for all three teams (Cal, USC, Oregon)

(and those comments about the California team are coming from a long time resident of Oregon, and A huge Oregon Ducks fan...*shakes head in disguist*)

I think you should pick up a copy of Phil Steele's College Preview. I am sure you would get a lot out of it.
