Or so the mantra goes...

Rant:

With all the 'opinions' spewing out about bush failing this and that concerning the New Orleans incident it makes me think. Concerning the looting; Is it really the fault of president bush that they are looting? No. If those that are looting, (TV's,etc... not counting those who are doing so to survive) would realize that its senseless, i mean what are they going to do, run the TV's on hydro power? I can understand looting shoes, food, water, etc... One needs to live, i may disagree with it, but i understand. Now, another point is that is it bush's fault for a slow response? No. Things have been going since monday. (i believe) It's the "resistance" by the idiots shooting at the helicopters, the rapes, etc... that are causing things to hit a snag.

We have other countries LTAO because we couldn't handle a hurricane. Well folks, i bet ya they wouldn't be laughing if it happened to them. I bet you that they arn't even ready.

Papers highlighted the gap between rich and poor unmasked by the looting and the fact that the most impoverished took the brunt of the disaster.

-Oh, gee, no duh people! If some one looked at the demographics before hand then no one would be going, "oh my!"

Perhaps it is bush's fault, though i don't think so. IMO it is the city/state governments fault. They had the money at one time, what did they do? Little to nothing. Perhaps if they showed that progress was going to be made, then perhaps funding wouldn't have been lowered...
