V is very, very, extra ordinary......

You ever look back and remember that one girl (or guy) that just was.....perfect?
When you were around them, you felt good, you had a "high".

Well, thats how i felt/feel about that one girl i knew in high school...*sighs* I couldn't shrug it off, ya know?
I still have feelings for her... I'm not going to let it control me, far from that, still, it sticks...(figuratively)...
I was way shy, i asked her out, and every time (asked weeks in advance after the first time) she was too busy, or was going with some one else...

She always seemed friendly with me... Hmmm....
I love her... We've kept in touch...she's off to college...some where back east...
Hmmm, just thinking about this makes me think of my future...where am i heading? Will i end up in the same position as my relatives...i don't want to be like that. So, i work my arse off. Not a problem.

But i have so many things that i might like to do... Acting, Football, History, Computers, Psychology, Writing, and Astronomy. I could go down any of these paths; although a few of them are definantly a no,

-Astronomy; The math skills needed for this career are not in my capability...I will never have the math skills needed.

-Computers; the same thing as atronomy, the math skills, the knowledge that i show interest in, but cannot grasp...

Football; While i have the know how, having studied football for many years...(though no where near the experteese of such coaches as holmgreen,etc...) I really don't want to coach, i wanna play... But, atm i haven't played football in 3 years...I am no where near the condition i was when i was playing...it would take time to "re-educate"...

Psychology: this one is "iffy", i did real well in the class, but i am still not concrete on whether i would make a career out of it...

History: This is by far my best subject and chance at a career....I enjoy history...

Acting: This one was a bit of a suprise, came out of nowhere. But thinking about it, it works....i enjoy it...hmmm

..........................

Ok....hmmm, well, i think thats all for tonight...maybe...

Here's a couple of things to think about, lucas:

Are you in love with HER or with the thought of her?

Have you actually done any acting yet?  I know that you said that you had signed up for some classes but i was wondering if you'd actually done any.

Are you into history as far as anthropology, or do you have an interest in archaeology?  I have a friend who's an archaeologist, if you're interested I'm sure he'd be willing to have a chat with you.  Let me know if you're interested, and I'll pass on your info to him.

--Plays, musicals,etc... no, we have 'sessions' on mondays, thursdays and fridays....

--History in general, i love to read about it..... And yeah, i'd like to talk with him, my email is: lucasbailey@fsmail.net

I'll pass that on.  His name's Brady, just so you know....

Her.

I don't know about that, Lucas.  I won't invalidate your feelings, but I honestly doubt that it's possible to love someone you only know from limited interactions.

I sent Brady an email just now, so hopefully he'll get back to you.  He's a super-nice guy....

-We've talked, etc...

Ok, you ask us questions all the time, so let me ask you some...

Do you know how this girl takes her coffee?

have you ever shared a meal together? Cooked together?

Have you ever held her hand? kissed her?

Have you ever stayed awake half the night, talking to each other?

Do you know who her favorite author is and why?

What exactly does 'etc' mean, as in "we've talked, etc"?

-She drinks lattes; double shot, white chocolate.

-Yes.

-No.

-Yes.

-No.

-Yes.

- Danielle Steele. No, i don't know why.

--Perhaps you are right, perhaps it is the thought...but the time i've had with her; has been bliss.

but the time i've had with her; has been bliss.

Bliss does not love make, Lucas.  Love, real love, comes with time.  I think that you might have been on the threshold of it....and I know that's a wonderful feeling.

I have a new wish for you...that you become comfortable in your own skin, and that you find someone who you can love and who loves you in return.

-Yoda slip?

-And thanks, i will do that...find my skin... (could find it here, they keep talking about skinning... )

Yoda slip?

Nope, intentional.

And thanks, i will do that...find my skin...

being comfortable in your own skin is a wonderful thing. I have a book you might like to read, actually....it's called 'Radical Acceptance'. Email me (dharmagirl69@gmail.com) and I'll explain more about it.
