Well, we (my family) celebrated my youngest niece's birthday on the 14th. She turned five years old, Wow! I can hardly believe it... It seems like it was yesterday when she was born... She and i have a more paternal bond as i helped take care of her/raise her...(howevr you view it), we have a couple rituals we do everytime we encounter each other, theres "knuckles", which is where we touch our knuckles together, kinda corny, but its our thing. We also started (since i took them (both nieces) to watch finding nemo, we act out the scene where the surfer turtle and his son go"fin, tail, noggin, dude!"...this also may seem corny...but ehh...oh well. My nickname for her is: "my buddy" (think of pauly shore saying it...)

As for the eldest, we have our problems. But (not picking favorites) she and i have the strongest bond, we grew up in the same house for nearly six of her 11 years. Many people have mistaken us for brother and sister, we fight like it as well. She's my sidekick, there is no denying that... She's the one i would trust with anything (besides mum, sis, and brother...). Our bond is just that strong.

My sister is more like a second mother, at the age of 10, she had to take care of me as my mom worked 2-3 jobs (depending on how well off we were), she continued to be a mother figure, though distant in that after my mother was able to get things stable, and she went of and formed her own family she was still there, but not *there*. Got it?

My brother and i have a strong bond, but its a "yeah yer there" type of bond, we care about each other, and would do things for each other. But, he has his life, and i have mine. Its a distant relationship that is close...kinda a paradox... We share interests; camping, video games, books, and a few other things...

My mom has always been my anchor, there when i needed her. Though at times she and i butt heads over trivial things, i always know she still cares. She helps me when times are hard and kicks my a$$ when i get out of step...

My family is awesome, though at times we may be seperated by miles...we are together in how much we care about each other...
