My votes go like this.....

Army is the BEST (Simply because I was in it!), plus we train all the services Airborne and Parachute Riggers, so if you don't think we're the best, I'll remember that when I pack your next chute! ;~D
USMC have the best dress uniforms and most challenging basic training.
Air Force, best quality of life for Enlisted and they are the only ones where the Enlisted and NCOs are smart enough to stay behind and send their Officers forward to fight.
Navy gives the most opportunity for travel.
Coast Guard gets to most nights at home.

Of course these are generalities, but what can I say... they are basically true. ;~D

and thank ya bunches for the vote (darn army.....*grumbles*... Not so bad, my 'adoptive' brother was in the army far a while, fought in desert storm... and went into bosnia and a few other places...)
GO MARINES!!! HOOAHH!!!

All branches are valuable in their own ways, but generally I think the Army sees the most hardship. The Army has been the primary fighting force in OIF, and while the Marines are involved in very dangerous operations, they do their jobs and leave after only a few months. Soldiers are there for up to a year or longer, fighting the fight, but also rebuilding, providing security, training Iraqi forces, providing medical care for the citizens, etc. Our Army is an immense fighting force filled with skilled professionals who have bravely answered the call to serve.

Not to take away from what the Marines, the Air Force, or the Navy have done to support recent military action, but I firmly believe that the Army is the backbone of the US military.

Marines, but I like the Chow in the Navy the best.

I would have to say the marines and if anyone can doubt it I'll just give you two battalions to look at and if they don't show you that marines are the best then I got more. But just look at the marine raiders also known as 1/5 an 2/5 of the first marine division and there actions in world war two. IF thats not enough to show you I have more.
