Well, looks like Castro is up to bat in the bi monthly bush-wack games. He is one of two (as far as i know) leaders from south of the US to "speak their mind", and at times, look like an arse for it.

One thing i would like to point out is that, the show that Castro was on, was that of Diego Maradona, a well known international soccer alumnist. Who was famous for leading Argentina's national team. Now, from what i read of the article, he was nothing more than a puppet.

But, thats just my opinion.

'Who was famous for leading Cuba's national team.'
I assume you mean Argentina. (Well, I suppose they are both 'south of the US' ... )

'Now, from what i read of the article, he was nothing more than a puppet.'
Pray tell, which article were you reading? There is absolutely nothing in the linked article to suggest that Maradona was 'a puppet'. In fact, if you knew the slightest thing about him - how he was arguably the most gifted player of his generation, but how an inflated ego and believing his own hype led to him ruining his career, his health and his reputation - you'd only just be starting to realise how ludicrous an accusation that was. A genius, a fool, an egotist, a junkie, a cheat, a star ... by all means. but a PUPPET? Of whom? I think not.

'But, thats just my opinion.'
And you're entitled to it. But just because you ARE entitled to it doesn't mean you are prevented from finding out something - ANYTHING! - about your subject before you develop your opinion on it.

PS. There is no such word as 'alumnist'. Perhaps you intended to type 'alumnus', which means a former student of an educational establishment. It still doesn't make any sense as you have used it, but at least it is a word. You would have made more sense and sounded less pretentious if you had just said 'former player'.

Hey, we all 'spew' sometimes. The trick is to acknowledge when we get it wrong. Good for you, Lucas.

Maybe you're getting more grammatical, Dr. Guy!
