What is Reality? Is it the physics of life? Is it the biological reactions? Is it the chemical reactions? Is it the relationships/interactions between sentient beings? What do you think reality is? Could we "pull back a veil" and see things clearer?

I think there is much more than meets the eye... (or ear, nose, etc...) I do indeed believe in ghosts, etc... I think that if we could "pll back that veil", we would see a vastly different world than what we know.

Reality is fact, no matter what our perception of reality happens to be. Too many people think of reality on the basis of perception and current knowledge. However, did heavier than air flight exist before it was "invented", or did it spring into existence the second the Wright Brothers left the ground in Kitty Hawk, NC? Did radio waves exist before the radio was invented? Or did we merely find a way to manipulate what already existed for our own use?

On the other hand, is faster than light travel "reality"? Or will it only be a reality if someone figures out how to do it?

Reality is, if it will ever exist, it already does, but we won't be able to use it until we figure out how.

Depends on what you mean by reality. When you say reality, you're referring to a pre-Einsteinian concept that is based on the premise that, if everybody could see things "as they really are," we would all see the same thing. I don't happen to believe that.

According to Incubus

"Before the 20th century reality was everything humans could touch, smell, see, and hear. After the discovery of the electromagnetic spectrum humans have learned that everything they can touch, smell, see, and hear is less than one millionth (sp?) of reality."

What if reality is more than just the here, and now, the feeling/touching/smelling/hearing that we deal with hear... What if.....we peel away a layer, and find a whole knew world.. ("dimensions") Hmmm?
