-As the title says, I would have to say that the movie is one of the most brutal films i've watched. I do have to say it was a good film, in that the point definantly got across. I advise everyone that if you have a low tolerance for violence,etc.. This *would not* be the movie for you.

For those of you who haven't seen the movie I will briefly run it down.

It is about a family that is highly "aryan" like. The father is extremely predjudice, and is a member of the local nazi group. The wife is a drug addict. The older son is the fathers "right hand man". He activley participates in certain activities. The younger son, is sort of the outcast, but wants to be like his brother.

One night, the older brother catches a couple black guys in the house (i believe) and proceeds to "deal" with them. And he ends up in jail. The older brother goes through a change, and returns a changed man. Mean while his brother changes and assumes the role left by the older brother...

Best Regards, Lucas

You're only just seeing this now?  It's been out for years.

What did you think of the 'curbing' scene?

Two words.... Holy Shit!

(It mad my jaw hurt...)

I saw it 3 years ago... In Psych class.

I do havew to say that Edward Norten is definantly underrated... He was good in The italian job, and 25th hour.
