Yer Out!: Baseball tightens the noose on steoids use

In a attempt to rectify its imge that was tarnished by the steroid scandel. Major league base ball has established a tougher steroid use policy. It goes as follows:

- 1st Offense: 50 Game Suspension

- 2nd Offense: 100 Game Suspension

- 3rd Offense: Banned from Baseball for life.

It's about Dang time. I lost a lot of interest in baseball, I was about ready to just turn my back on it when things kept going in circles concerning steroids. I mean, I see it as BULLSHIT! I have always wanted to play baseball, always, but, I am not athletic enough. I won't go use steroids, cause i'd be cheating myself. I applaud Bud Selig for this step, its about time.

I guess I am the opposite. I think they should hand them syringes when they take the field so they can shoot up on camera. I want to see people making themselves into freaks of nature for my amusement. Then again, I am kind of a dick.

Baseball didn't tighten the noose cause they wanted to get tough. The only reason they did is because otherwise the boys in Washington would set their own policy.

I'm willing to bet I bet most people don't even care about steroid use in baseball. They just want to see home runs. To me it seems only the media is worried about it. Baseball went the whole year with a soft stance on steroids but still got record attendances for the whole league.
