Which one is more adamant in their faith?
Published on November 20, 2005 By ----- In Misc
Just a question that popped into my head.

If you look back at Clinton's time, do you feel he was more "religious" (i.e. more adamant/stern about his faith)?

Or, do you think Bush is?

(You can substitute another president )

IMO I feel that Bush is the more "religious" of the two. I think he has the biggest foundation via a faith. Now, I'm not saying Clinton didn't, this is just what i feel.

(Added) Under advice from another, i am going to expand. I base my opinion of Bush, mostly on a gut feeling. Sure, thats not something to take to court. Though, I haven't been let down so far by any gut feelings. (Perhaps we'll see) I viewed clinton more as a "Thug" than anything else. He always seemed to be smirking...laughing, thinking he had the wool over our eyes. I mean, if he (clinton) was as great as some say. Then, why didn't he for see some of the economical downfalls? Why didn't he deal with some of the current issues that have existed for many years. He had 8 years to do so.

Ok, lets straighten something out.

Yes, let's. People on JU don't trust you because you have lied to them in the past. You tell them they have a responsibility to start trusting you again. They reply no, it's up to you to regain their trust. So ... you disable commenting on the thread.

You are sad and pathetic in equal amounts, Lucas.

No. *grumbles at people assuming again* I closed it cause there was no point in continuing it. Why leave it open for people to continue thinking i am trying to "force" things onto them. That I'm not accepting responsibility for MY actions. Thats why i closed it. There just wasn't a point in leaving it open. It was stupid of me to post it in the first place.

Oh, and here's some advice "Assuming makes an ass out of me, AND you..." (Think about things first, regardless of my past)

(Added) Oh, just in case *you* go ahead and assume. I'll make it much clearer. I took heed of your guy's words. *gasps*

It would have been much simpler to have said this on the original blog. And then no one would have continued 'assuming' anything. Der.

I think both of them have deeply held religious beliefs, and both are willing to use them for their own (non religious) purposes.
