17755 - Total Points (12325 if you're counting)
5430 - Unqualified Points

Well, these were the stats used in an email sent to me by a certain blogger, who wrote in the email:

I am going to lay it out for you about the points. (You should feel fortunate that I am not doing this in the JU public eye.)

I know what you are doing and I know how you are doing it. I amassed 17k+ points in two days. I exploited a flaw in the points system that is still there. I got grounded. I could do the same thing right now. Currently if you go to the JU user rankings I am at the bottom. I have -9800 pts or something.

According to his stats he has:

317 - Total Articles (4755 points)
1514 - Total Replies (7570 points)
17755 - Total Points (12325 if you're counting)
5430 - Unqualified Points

That leaves a deficit of 5430 points (I called them unqualified because they could have been from page views. To my knowledge, the page view points counter doesn't work, but that could just be my account). He has 291 articles that can be counted and 317 total. The other 26 articles could have been deleted or marked private.

This is really good ... To come up with the additional 5430 points from replies alone would require 1086 replies (more than 2/3rds of his total replies on record). The points system allows for you to keep the 15 points for a written and deleted article and you also get to keep the points from comments.

See I did the math. I know your track record. I have examined your articles. I am going to politely ask you to stop. I will continue to keep an eye on you and if I notice more discrepancies I will do more investigation and I will expose you. (you don't have to be a whiz to find and exploit the flaw in the points system, infact you have already admited to knowing 50% of it)

There are people that you are knocking out of the top slots who really deserve to be there.

Finally, and take this as a warning not a threat. If I wanted to, I could have already made your life hell. You release too much personal information on the web. You should be worried, but not about me. One day you are going to piss off someone with a lot less character than me. The stuff LW found out about you would be considered child's play in comparison to what could easily be done to you.

I've also included my stats (before i posted this article).

# Articles: 356 (5340 points)
# Article Replies: 1620 (8100 points)
User Points: 19580 (13440 total)

My first thought was that the points were from referrals. Another thing came to mind was the fact that, whenever i reply, my point total goes up (+5). I do have a spam issue, and points could've come from that. However, it seems that a majority of the points (from thinking about it) would come from elsewhere.

It isn't the points that i am concerned with. (However i would like it explained, if possible. So that the certain blogger understands it and quits claiming i am manipulating anything...) My main concern is th fact that he is doing this. I asked him to just back off and just go watch someone else.

Come on, JU community, let's keep this in the public eye by continually bumping it with posts.

ElindelWolf, I hope that you have contacted the sysadmin via email - have you done so?

"If I wanted to, I could have already made your life hell"

Just go tell the "certain blogger" to go fuck off

The page view points do in fact work on mine and many of my articles have thousands of points with only 10-15 replies and even articles with zero replies have broached the 1000 point mark. I would just block his emails and be done worrying about it. The JU points system? Honestly who even gives a shit after your first few thousand?

Yes, and the admin replied...

Sarcasm?

Normally I would...

Ah, ok.

Edited: I took your advice and found out how to block, and then did so.

There are 2 types of points.  User points and site points.  Page views only count on site points, not user points.  And site points roll over ever 30 days.  The unexplained points are replies others have made on your blogs.  Your "article replies" are how many times you have replied on any blog.
