The glue that held my family (Aunt's side, mum's side) together, my grandma. Mary Louise Gray. She was awesome. She was an avid painter, extremely skilled. She taught classes right up to the day before she was hospitalized. (The next morning, she was getting ready, when my cousin Tawnia found her slumped over, a stroke...) I didn't find out until around noon. I was in school at the time. I was shell shocked. I'd last saw her the previous saturday. We'd played cards, and painted (i was trying to learn...haven't done such since then). She was great. From what i remember, it was a stroke that paralyzed (i believe) her entire left side. She would've lived, but...would've been in a "veggie" like state. Within a few days...she was gone. I was down in the hospital waiting area...when i felt her go. Sure, you might call me nuts, but i could feel it. I hurried up to her room, knowing something wasn't right..., and ran into my cousin T. She told me...and i continued up... I was distraught. Beyond that....she and i were PB & J...

She died on Febuary 17th 1998....nearly 7 years ago...

Then...there was Missey...my dog.... I've always known her to have been Red Healer/Dingo Mix. (However, as i was told..dingos are illegal to import,etc...) I had had her since...'89/'90. She died (old age) November 21st 2001. It hurt. She was the best dog i had ever had (even counting the nut we had called Cocoa...). She was very protective. I remember one time, when my eldest niece and i were playing fort, and had built a "fort" in the kitchen. My mum had decided to play the bear/dragon...and started to go "roar". Suddenly, missey came in barking viciously...and believe me...my mum isn't a pushover...but she backed off immediatley. I've included a picture below....of missey. (Its a picture of a picture...as i have no scanner)
