Well, It's Wednesday and that means that I've spent the last two days being re-introduced to CC procedures,etc... By far my toughest class is going to be my math class in terms of the amount of homework. The first chapter or two (from what i read) is pretty much going to be a review for myself. (I always wondered why i tested at math 70... but no matter) The one spot that i will have trouble with is the graphing equations....etc... I remember back in HS that the biggest reason i nearly...

In reference to this piece: Link I never realized that my words were interpreted as "I own "writersjournal.com". The site i was referring to was a forum that was under myfreeforum.org . As i said it is no longer running... I hope this clears things up. I do apologize for inadvertant misrepresintation. --Lucas

I've always put a lot of emphasis on whether i was a liberal or conservative, republican or democrat. At times i called my self a centrist. Other times i would've been happy with being called a purple people eater. Regardless. I've been reading several books over the course of the last few months. I've finally come to terms with it and realized that, i am conservative, despite what i may think or want. (on the inside) Deep down inside i am red all the way. But, that doesn't mean i am...

"You're going to relegate my history to a month?" the 68-year-old actor says in an interview on CBS' "60 Minutes" to air Sunday (7 p.m. EST). "I don't want a black history month. Black history is American history." Freeman notes there is no "white history month," and says the only way to get rid of racism is to "stop talking about it." The actor says he believes the labels "black" and "white" are an obstacle to beating racism. "I am going to stop calling you a white man and I'm goin...

It must've been nearly 3-4 years ago when my mum and i headed over the hill (Cascades) to the rogue valley. (Which encompasses Ashland, Medford, Central Point, Eagle Point, Jacksonville, and many other areas.) More specifically we were heading to Jacksonville which is a small town which holds the "Britt Festival" and was host to President Bush a few years back. In this town is a cemetery, which, due to how old the town is, has fairly old markers. On some there were births from 1756, and later...

Oy! The weather is absolutly crazy. We're getting nearly 4 1/2 inches here, and...snow. As well as winds between 10 to 20 mph. I hope it quits a.s.a.p. But....for now...I'm hunkered down and 'riding it out'. --EW

I had an idea for a “JU Awards” type of thing. Where, we get together and nominate bloggers, blogs, political personas, and other figures. (Or places) For various awards. Such as: Stupidest Action: Stupid Quote: (By politician,etc... Not JU Blogger) Stupidest Action: Looniest Liberal: Croniest Conservative: (yeah, "croniest" is not exactly a word, just work with me on this) Best Satire/Parody: Best Satire/Parody: Any Ideas for categories? Do realize, this i...

I had an idea of having a "monthly moron" section of my blog dedicated to those who take the cake with stupid actions, words, or other things. The first person that i have chosen is Iran's president (Might not have been in the same month...) and his comments in regards to the holocaust and israel. Mr. Loony, please come accept the trophy...Mr. Loony?

Hey Y'all. I took a nice long (well, semi long) break. And decided to finally comeback before New years. I hope every one is doing great, and a late "merry christmass" and happy new years...see ya. -Lucas

I will seek and find you . . . I shall take you to bed and have my way with you . I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan. I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop. I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I’m finished with you. And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days. All my love... The Flu Note: I was forwarded this by a friend.

There was a poll on CNN that asked who you thought (from the options) "Who should be the person of the year be?" (for TIME magazine) Who do you think should be "person of the year"? Here are the options that were available. Lance Armstrong George Bush Condi Rice Mother Nature JK Rowling Pope Benedict XVI Steve Jobs Bill/Hillary Clinton (Or your choice) -Lucas I would choose Lance Armstrong. He is a fine example of strength. Fighting his cancer, he did what ...

Errr, I posted a blog recently and found my blog like this: If the image doesn't show: There is a large black bar where my menu on the right should be and below my artivcles. My menu looks as though it is pasted to an article of mine. I tried to check to see if i happened to absent mindedly (don't ask me why i would) put my blog url as the image linke, instead of the specific image intended. But, I can't access the 'edit' option. Or the delete option. Did I cause it? -Lucas ...

(Edited) 1. You take every opportunity to talk smack about Iraq and the military. You do your pro-war cheerleader routine (or conversely, your anti-war cheerleader routine) with such callousness that even though you mouth support for the troops, you actually don't care what happens to any given Soldier. You laud their sacrifices while showing complete disregard for their lives. 2. You use graphic photos of Soldiers or even dead civilians to illustrate your political points (again, th...

Just give me a chance. I will be honest. I will work to earn the trust back. I just ask that you examine all sides and maybe even question me, before you come to conclusions. I've been tactless with my choice of words. Please.

Blegh... I'm still having hangovers from thanksgiving. Spent the entire day (well, from 9am till around 8:30pm) with my sisters father, who is at the moment, living with her. We played cards. (He doesn't lose with great...dignity (right word?) ) (We beat him 4 games to 1....) We had turkey, cranberry sauce, yams (Ugh!), develed eggs, and a lot of other things. (Sis's dad paid for it all) We also watched the football games... (IRK! for the lions) and the parade. It was ...
