Sayako's farewell to imperial life TOKYO, Japan (Reuters) -- Crowds of well-wishers shouted "banzai" (long life) and applauded as Japan's Princess Sayako left the royal palace Tuesday to marry urban planner Yoshiki Kuroda. In doing so she bid farewell to her life as a privileged princess. The marriage means she relinquishes her title, swaps the grandeur of the Imperial Palace for an ordinary apartment, and trades official duties for housework and the supermarket run. The rese...

I define intelligence as it being, what the student knows. If they are able to grasp every subject, then they are "talented." How bout all of you? (I'll add more later, on a bit of a post and dash moment) Best Regards, Lucas

Well, in my local area, one of the news stations promotes closed captioning as a way to learn to read, and learn english as a second language. The problem is.... (At least on my t.v.) I don't get proper english... All i find is symbols, cut offs and other, strange things that make the "english" look like gibberish... Not the best way to learn to read, or english if i do say so. Perhaps it is just my t.v., or area... :/ Best Regards, Lucas

Sen. McCAIN: No, I think it's a very legitimate aspect of American life to criticize and to disagree and to debate. But I want to say I think it's a lie to say that the president lied to the American people. I sat on the Robb-Silverman Commission. I saw many, many analysts that came before that committee. I asked every one of them--I said, `Did--were you ever pressured politically or any other way to change your analysis of the situation as you saw?' Every one of them said no. Now was ...

There is no emotion; there is peace. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no death; there is the Force. I think this is an admirable code, one to follow. The only change i would make is concerning emotion. Emotion/relationships are needed. But so is peace.

Chaos, war, hate, death…. This is what is going on in the world… Step back… Remove the veil, Look around… What do you see? If you look close enough, we are in a tumultuous time. Comparable to the chaos predicted in the bible’s “end times.” (Not saying we are in “the end times”) But there is no denying it. Chaos reigns. The usa has been crippled by hurricanes, droughts, floods, etc… Weather has withdrew its ‘mea culpa’ and unleashed its wrath. Bitter disputes are tearing apart once ...

#1 >"The Iron Bowl" Alabama vs. Auburn Series Record: Alabama leads 38-30-1 (2004) Trophy: Omicron Delta Kappa-James E. Foy V Sportsmanship Trophy Notes: It's my personal favorite, and arguably the greatest rivalry in college football. This game literally stops a state. The teams didn't play from 1907 to 1948 because of various arguments between the schools. The trophy for this game isn't as important as the ownership of the state that comes with a win. #2 "The Civil War" ...

Civil War that is... This next Saturday is the annual "Civil War" between the University of Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers. This rivalry is considered the 5th harshest rivalry in college football. It has been played since 1894. And Oregon leads the series. (Not sure the exact) My pic is: Oregon Ducks - 45 Oregon State Beavers - 42 Any pics? Best Regards, Lucas
