Finally, some citizens, sick and tired of the 'hoodlums' that now seem to control the rioting. And aware of the french governments ineptness/inability to control the riots, have taken matters into their own hands. Neighbors patrol riot-scarred French towns ASNIERES, France - As night falls, residents-turned-sentinels are setting off on rounds of their riot-hit towns looking to prevent more arson and attacks. Several towns in the suburbs of Paris and elsewhere are organizing...

Seriously though.... The ratio of conservatives to liberals in Klamath falls are 9-1 (gop-dnc). This "town" (it's vastly growing) is *the* conservative stronghold of what was once a highly conservative state. (Our are is also known as the "Conservatice Stronghold" when considering the 'hold out' our area has gone through in keeping it mostly conservative) In "Cowboy country" (as our area and other areas are known) , we are being out voted by the liberal loonies (seriously, they don't kn...

You know yer from Klamath Falls when you declare your non-catholic faith and end up getting ran out of town. You know yer from klamath falls when it snows in the summer, rains in winter, and you have droughts in the winter. You know yer from klamath falls when your local high schools have insited on closing all sports due to the need to increase salaries. You know yer from klamath falls when yer enemy is the EPA. You know yer from Klamath falls when yer other enemy lives at the bo...

Cast out, By his own deeds, Wounded by words, Needlessly thrown around. Weathered, beaten, Unloved, He wanders aimlessly, Across this barren land, Searching for his very own, Promise Land. He struggles to remember, The 'good 'ol days', With fields of golden wheat, And sunshine filled days. He wanders aimlessly, With regret, Of his past transgressions, That have made you cry. Sheltered by tattered clothes, He knows... (Judgement) Vagabond...

Ok, If you could be a super hero. (Like outta the comic books) What would you be? What would be your purpose? What would you look like? What special power(s) would you have? (Please include anything else if you want) For me, I would be Crimson Hawk (based on an idea for a text-based comic). I would be able to shape change into any animal. (Preferred= Hawk) I would fight injustice. I would have a super hero out fit (Well of course!) It would be a mask, with red/crimson wings sprouting from ...

Oy, the cold, the bitter, freezing cold... Winter. We (Klamath Falls) got slammed by a blizzard today. I woke up and we had around 11" of snow... I'm now sitting here at the terminal and looking out the window... you can't see more than a few yards... But, you can tell that its snowing... (obviously)..it's been (as far as i know) snowing relentlessly for hours now... (I hope it stops) I'm glad the LRC has heat, my first class didn't. I found out, after having to walk across the campus,...

What is it with such college football teams, such as (specifically) the Oregon Ducks, in the AP/Coaches/Harris poll,s they are 11th, rising 4 spots... huh? Not only that, but they rose 2 spots in the BCS standings, and UCLA dropped to #5... WTF!? Is it me, or do certain teams get little or no respect in (IMO an unargueably biased) BCS poll? Another Example, 2001 season, the Oregon Ducks were "jumped" by Nebraska... (Nebraska!?) Who had lost 2 games, versus Oregons Undefeated season....

(That sucks) Hmmm....well, I was going to post a piece asking if any one would post a pic of themselves... but i will try it here. So, if anyone is willing, would you post a pic here of yourself. Well, looks like Castro is up to bat in the bi monthly bush-wack games. He is one of two (as far as i know) leaders from south of the US to "speak their mind", and at times, look like an arse for it. One thing i would like to point out is that, the show that Castro was on, was that of Diego Maradona, a well known international soccer alumnist. Who was famous for leading Argentina's national team. Now, from what i read of the article, he was nothing more than a puppet. But, thats just m...

Let my voice be heard, Above the mountain tops, And into the valleys, Lest we remember our silent past, Our bane cometh soon. For we claim much more embellishments, And stake much fortune in, Those gold and silver treasures, that lie within our carnal eden. For fame and glory passeth soon, without remarkable remains, Legacy and good nature lasts. History has told us so. For when we delve into, the realm of broken soothes and trumped remnants, we bring about our destruc...

Hmm, ok... I have a wild idea. A theory, that, every religion leads to god... or, a all-powerful being. Being it what ever you wish to call it. Multiple religions are very similarly structured, they have similar gods, customs, etc... Could this be a coincidence? Pehaps, but, lets say that they are one. One..."faith", that with the introduction into various cultures,etc... This one faith, changed, adapted, and grew into multiple faiths, whether because of need, wants , or social influences... ...
