Well, since 'thanksgiving' is coming up, i thought i'd ask what every one was grateful for? I am grateful for my family, friends, my experiences... My let downs, my hopes, my dreams... all of it... Especially me being diagnosed with the Sleep apnia,etc... It's changed my outlook on things... I am thankful for being able to interact with the people at KCC, and when i went i went to KUHS... So how 'bout y'all? Best Regards, Lucas

Hmmm, i replayed that dream last night... only, this time... I could see who it was...I proposed to... *thinks* I don't know what to say, or to think at the moment... I mean, i've moved on...yet, my subconscious...persists... Perhaps its trying to tell me something? (Not sure what exactly...) I kept replaying it over and over... each times stopping when she saw the ring... Perhaps i am paying attention too much to this... It's just a dream..right? --Lucas

Ok... now, get this... I have been asked this question, not once, not twice... but Six times... By one of my best friends. By my sister. By my niece. By my step-father. By one of my other best friends. And then (the one that "takes the cake"), My mother... Now, what is this question? "Are you gay?" Irk!? Now, I have nothing against gays,etc... But... I mean, c'mon... my mom! If anyone would know the answer to that question, it would be her... I'm just sitting here thin...

One of my all time favorite musicals turns 40. The sound of music, which was a big thing for my grandmother and i. (We'd sit and watch a video of it ) Whenever i watch it, i just think of my gran-mum. It definantly holds a place in my heart. Other than that, It is an awesome story of the Von Trappe family.

Link -As the title says, I would have to say that the movie is one of the most brutal films i've watched. I do have to say it was a good film, in that the point definantly got across. I advise everyone that if you have a low tolerance for violence,etc.. This *would not* be the movie for you. For those of you who haven't seen the movie I will briefly run it down. It is about a family that is highly "aryan" like. The father is extremely predjudice, and is a member of the local nazi...

Is it me, or does this creature sound kind of like the "loch Ness" monster so infamously known? Just wonderin... -Lucas [ B]Scientists reveal prehistoric terror (CNN) -- Scientists say they have discovered the intact fossilized skull of a marine crocodile with a dinosaur-like head and a fish-like tail that likely terrorized the Pacific Ocean 135 million years ago. The head of the expedition that found the specimen has dubbed it "Godzilla." The fossil was discovered...

Below are my top five quotes from the American Revolution. I think the very first one, is the biggest, because it certainly defines the war. 1. THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. [/B ]Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict,...

I had a strange dream last night. (Not strange as in i didn't understand it, just that it was... the last dream concerning the particular subject that thought i'd think of ) I dreamt i was walking in a mall, and was coming up to a jewelers, where i bought a ring. A sapphire ring, cut really well. (Forgive me for a lack of description, i lack the know-how of what the terms are for jewelry and such) I then, after paying for it, proceeded to walk to a resteraunt where i then proposed... T...

What is Reality? Is it the physics of life? Is it the biological reactions? Is it the chemical reactions? Is it the relationships/interactions between sentient beings? What do you think reality is? Could we "pull back a veil" and see things clearer? I think there is much more than meets the eye... (or ear, nose, etc...) I do indeed believe in ghosts, etc... I think that if we could "pll back that veil", we would see a vastly different world than what we know. Best Regards, Luc...

Is there "alien" life out there in our universe? If so, then are they capable of travelling here? Have they visited? What do they seek? Why haven't we discovered any? Will we ever reach that point in science when we are able to travel vast distances in 'decent' amounts of time? (e.g. not 50 yrs...etc...) I do think there is "ET"/"Alien" Life out there in the universe. To me, it would be illogical not to be. Why would there be so much space, with only one advanced life form occupyin...

Goats shall never roam baseball fields, or be allowed within the confines of a base ball stadium. Black sox will be outlawed to wear in professional games. And Ghosts shall never walk along side current pros, haunting their dreams of a world series. A new age of base ball! Seriously though, IMO, I think that there is a "new age" of baseball coming... I mean, in two years, two "curses", vamoose... Gone, see ya later... In three years, 3 teams that were considered... "average", won...

I want my legacy to be one of memories of a kind, compassionate, caring individual. One who would do anything for his friends/family. One who held himself to high standards. One who is only human, and is capable of faults, and redemption. One who did his best in life, no matter what. One who provided his children with the best tools to live life. (Responsiblity,etc...) (Kinda basic) So, how bout you JU'sians? Best Regards, Lucas

Thats my question for you religious folk here at JU. Whether you're Jewish, Christian, or worship a pink spotted gorilla.. The question is the same. Me? I don't have a faith really... In terms of a "religious faith"... I have "faith" in doing my best...that no matter what.. I will perservere..etc... Best Regards, Lucas
