For the last year, specifically the last four months I’ve been letting my ‘asshole’, and cowardly attitude get the best of me. My stubborn, if not fanatical drive to ‘redeem’ myself has driven me to an increase in stress, low tolerance and a general ‘not very nice attitude’. I’ve let it trickle into my real life; my friends, family and schooling. I’ve been rigid and snappy towards those I love and care for. I became blind to what others have said, those who only wished to help me…as a frie...

Pop ups, oy, they drive me crazy. And i have looked for a program to block them, but, of the ones i have found, they are of low quality. And they don't work. Another thing i just hate (when it happens) is when you type in a url, but type it incorrect, and instead get another...., slightly different site.... Did that once and instead got some occult page, , i just backed out and re-typed the url... Another thing i can't stand is when you go to type a url and you get a page that sa...

Looking back lately, at the fact that its been a little over 3 months (doesn't seem that long) since i finished high school, and with college coming around the corner. (Start monday ) I start to think, where will i go...what will i do...when will i see some of the others i knew (but not *knew*) in high school? My ten year reunion? Before then? I don't know... But i do know i miss them. But i wish them the best of luck with college, and hope they make it in life and whatever they dream. This ...

I’ve been here at JU for nearly a year, and some of you may have read my blog and made a comment or two. One thing that has crossed my mind a few times is the fact that at times bloggers (having it happen to me personally) have had people say (concerning their articles); “blog for yourself”, telling the blogger to not worry about how others view them. Then at times those bloggers (the ones advised) post an article(s) and then they are told that their article isn’t “blogging for themselves” (...

Today God himself took over as the head negotiator in the conflict in the Middle East. Using his powers he brought Yasser Arafat, Ariel Sharon, and all of their people to heaven itself where they were waited on hand and foot by angels as God attempted to broker a ceasefire. God motioned for silence and began "Whether you are a Palestinian or an Israeli, you are one my children. That's why I want you both sides to stop fighting and to co-exist in harmony from this point on! I have spoken!"...

The Top 10 Things Heard At The United Nations Commission On Human Rights Since Moammar Gadaffi Took Over : Link My Favorite: 2) If you think my getting this job will make the US mad, wait until they find out Saddam Hussein has been made the UN's chief weapons inspector. Politically Correct Fairy Tales Hansel and Gretel Hansel and Gretel were lost in the woods when they came upon a house made of candy and cake. An old witch invited them in and then captured bot...

Well, we (my family) celebrated my youngest niece's birthday on the 14th. She turned five years old, Wow! I can hardly believe it... It seems like it was yesterday when she was born... She and i have a more paternal bond as i helped take care of her/raise her...(howevr you view it), we have a couple rituals we do everytime we encounter each other, theres "knuckles", which is where we touch our knuckles together, kinda corny, but its our thing. We also started (since i took them (both nieces) ...

What is it with the University of Oregon Ducks Football team that turns people off? Is it the yellow jerseys? Whatever the reason, oh well. They have a nicely rounded team, a few minor tweaks were needed, but still, they can compete. They have a QB that is considered to be one of the best in school history, behind Joey Harrington. They have a rotation of HB's that can pound the line and razzle-dazzle any team. Their WR corps can out jump and out run any team. Their Defensive li...

Seems yet again Hugo Chavez has gone ahead and farted out of his mouth. He said on August 29th: "If the US government does not take action that it must take, we will go to the United Nations and Organisation of American States to denounce the US government," if the US fails to act against Pat Robertson. Can't qute do that Chavez, its called free speech. He is quoted saying: "This is an international crime, terrorism" This is concerning: US television evangelist Pat Robertson, a str...

"There is no way to imagine America without New Orleans, and this great city will rise again," "I as president am responsible for the problem, and for the solution." Well, Bush spoke, laid out his plans: 1 Urban Homesteading Act; which would make some federal property free to some poor families through a lottery system. In turn the family would secure a mortgage or financial help to build on the lot through a charity like Habitat for Humanity, he said. 2 The Department o...

With the ruling recently that the words "Under God" in the pledge of allegiance, are unconstitutional, it makes you think whether the founding fathers are spinning in their graves. The first amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. -Well you kn...
