LOL Thought people would look, was bored so i thought i'd just post this.... (Am just kidding) Journal 9/6/05 Well, as i mentioned before, i want to be an actor. Well, i signed up for some classes, i've also been meaning to talk to the arts teacher at KCC. I've checked into getting a job both at the local theater (the big one) and work forest fires (doing time keeping, etc... non-flammable related jobs). According to my cousins fiance, who did time keeping last couple years. You g...

With only four days left until the four year anniversary of the september 11th tragedy, i ask others her on JU; "Have you learned anything from the 9/11 attacks?" "What have you learned from 9/11?" "Where/how do you see/view america today?" "Where/how do you see/view the world today?" "Are we, as a nation, more united since 9/11?" "Are we, as a world, more at peace since 9/11?" "How do you view the future?" "What do you forsee coming in the next year, fiver years, ten...

These are some questions for all peoples here at JU that prefer the same sex. Its to try and understand, from your words/point of view. As i have been chastisized for some harsh comments. 1. At what age did you determine your sexual preference? 2. How did this come about? 3. How long did it take you to "come out" after your Revelation? 4. How did your friends and family react? 5. Do you feel that homosexuals are legitimately/illegally persecuted in the U.S.? 6. Have y...

Rant: While I was watching the television tonight they interviewed various “refugees” from the hurricane. More than a few of them shouted angrily about not getting out now, not getting this and that. Well people; don’t expect us to be able to pull it out of our arses(sp). I can sympathize with needing food and water, but people don’t realize that things take time. It takes planning; we (relief) can’t go in all gung ho. Some people do not realize that those who are going in and rescuing, etc...

Rant I get sick and tired of those people like Jesse Jackson, Al sharpton and now, Kanye West (yeah i know who he is). No. Its not: "I don't like them cause they're black." JJ and AS(S) are supposed to be for civil rights, but all they do is muck things up. They cry foul over some black folk not getting a job they ain't qualified for. They cry foul when some poor lil black child doesn't get the help needed when the child is just fine. They just are a bunch of blow horns. I say sen...

Rant: With all the 'opinions' spewing out about bush failing this and that concerning the New Orleans incident it makes me think. Concerning the looting; Is it really the fault of president bush that they are looting? No. If those that are looting, (TV's,etc... not counting those who are doing so to survive) would realize that its senseless, i mean what are they going to do, run the TV's on hydro power? I can understand looting shoes, food, water, etc... One needs to live, i may disagree...

With hurricane katrina blasting New Orleans, Mississippi, and other regions on the gulf coast; one realizes that not only will the city, but the US will never be the same again. Devastation, chaos, grief... Words that describe some of the emotions of some residents who have lost everything but the shirt on their back. Others have been more fortunate. A whole city; to be evacuated, empty for months. How will life be in New Orleans after this, after the city is rebuilt. What will this d...

Warning: Rant Ahead While browsing around the reuters website i found an article concerning Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. It seems that he, with his greater experience and infinite wisdom in evacuations, he went ahead and criticized bush, saying: "the king of vacations in his ranch said nothing but, you have to flee, and didn't say how" ( http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2005-09-01T004759Z_01_MOL102882_RTRIDST_0_INTERNATIONAL-WEATHER-KATRINA-CHAVEZ-...

Well, believe it or not. I've always thought about a career in acting. Seriously. No joke. The main thing that kept me off the stage, was my fear of being out in front of so many people. Thankfully i've overcame that over the years, and as a result i can see myself as starting out as an extra. Little parts, and work my way up. Take some acting classes here in klamath falls. Learn some skills. And i'd be set. I know i said that i was thinking of playing football, this is just another optio...

Get this; Pat Robertson, expresses his opinion, and that is his right, no matter how "out there" it may be. (An example would be some of the extreme partisans we have here) and he apolgoizes, well, i'm guessing Hugo Chavez didn't get the memo. He's now, demanding the US deal with Robertson, or he says he will go to the UN, and other international organizations, and denounce the US for "protecting a 'terrorist' by not acting" ( http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/43989743-A702-4364-989E...

140-180 mph winds; 200+mph gusts; rain, flooding...a Hurricane named Katrina. This hurricane is considered the second worst in history, behind the infamous hurricane Andrew in '92. With Katrina bearing down on New Orleans, which lay below sea level. One can only hope that it is spared its full wrath. Flooding is imminent, and with the city under water for who knows how long, it could shake NO's economy. I offer my thoughts, prayers, and wishes to every one in New Orleans and the surrou...

Well; with US Federal Reserve Chief Alan Greenspan's board of governors/FR term ending/retirement in January looming ever closer. And the possibility that he may choose to step down as US Fed. Reserve Chief; we must ask ourselves some questions. Who will replace him? Having held the position for 18 years. And have made decisions that have held the economy, keeping outcomes 'in the green'. His tenure has seen recession, expansion and recession. With his resignment; what will it do to t...

Well, been thinking lately... At the moment there is a bit of a problem within my family going on. There's a wedge spliting the various 'factions'/ There is my aunt, uncle and cousins, Thats one group. There's me, my mom, my sister, brother, sis-in-law, and nieces. Thats another. It used to be it was just my aunts family, my mom's family. Now, recently, my brother never came to my sisters birthday in july (well, it wasn't that recent), never called, got her a present. Now my sister is bummed...

Have you ever been listening to music, just absent mindedly. While doing some thing else; dishes, or something else. And a song comes on, a rap one, and they start singing about their thing, and you try really hard to listen to them, but you don't understand what they are saying. Thats what i go through at times. Especially when i am watching my nieces; as the eldest likes to listen to rap. When i hear some of the things they say (what i can hear) i just shake my head, wondering why childr...
