Well, I've finally done it. After long consideration (and lack of funds), I made the decision and finished up just recently. What might you ask? I've paid for a 'writers/authors' membership at a writing website that i have reviewed at for nearly 5 years... I've been wanting to... But with every check,etc... that i have received. Its burned a hole in my pocket, so to speak. I'm ecstatic. (This means less of me around here....*waits for cheering*...Just kidding about the waiting... ...

*Sighs* Here we go again... Well, the local tribe has demanded that all of the roads, and locals that bear the name 'squaw', (geographic locals, etc..) be renamed. They also happened to insist that instead of squaw, to use 'shrew'. For those who don't get it, Shrew (according to Dictionary.com) means: 1. Any of various small, chiefly insectivorous mammals of the family Soricidae, resembling a mouse but having a long pointed snout and small eyes and ears. Also called shrewmouse. ...

The glue that held my family (Aunt's side, mum's side) together, my grandma. Mary Louise Gray. She was awesome. She was an avid painter, extremely skilled. She taught classes right up to the day before she was hospitalized. (The next morning, she was getting ready, when my cousin Tawnia found her slumped over, a stroke...) I didn't find out until around noon. I was in school at the time. I was shell shocked. I'd last saw her the previous saturday. We'd played cards, and painted (i was trying ...

Why is it that people can't accept that there are people that are hopeless? Myself for example. I am a class a Fuck up. I do try, but am perfectly capable of screwing up, repeatedly. Why is it that people can be such asses? Why are there those who are, shall i say, rigid and willfully ignorant? Perhaps it is human nature. Perhaps it is...brain capacity? *shrugs* I don't know. But I am just like anyone else. Capable of failing. I don't ask, plead or whine for forgiveness. Just understanding t...

I feel now, more than ever before that Americans are forgetting why we are fighting terrorism. Either caught up blindly in the daily grind called life, listening to news of horrific numbers of casualties, or caught up in the pride of partisanship. Americans have shifted back into a pre 9/11 posture. Politicians are making things worse. They stand at the capitol, caught up in shit slinging. They bicker over unnecessary things and display selfishness. I am disappointed, no, I am saddened. For...

I read a book titled My Jihad . This book gave me a better insight into mujhadeen,etc... However, the author, seems hyper and childish. But, that's just my opinion. He seems to write as if he was jumping suddenly from one spot to another. (stutter like) He is fairly biased against the CIA and never finds out (as far as anything in the book) why things happened the way they did. He is a bit arrogant and self rightous in his assertions that he claim are "correct". I was reading some of the ...

Remember when… We closed our eyes, and dreamt... Of a life a whole lot brighter. Of a path untried, and unkempt. A dream of golden skies… A patch of cream and rye, A piece of heaven. Remember when, We kissed that summer day, I held your body close, I never let go, I cherished our time… I never forgot your touch. I reminisce… (Oh…Remember When…) Written: 16th January, 2006.

Yeah...well. I guess its good for him. A bit blunt in the titlingof the site. But, none the less. There is a site by Tom Crouse (Host of "Engaging your world" radio show) which he: "celebrating Gods design of Heterosexuality, and also has the nerve to have at the event someone who will give testimony to the fact that Jesus Christ freed them from all their sins." Now, thats his right. But...sheesh...

I was reading a travel(Europe based) book i received as a graduation present last year (oy! I feel old saying that ), and i came across a couple of itineraries that i liked. 1) "The Ultimate Pub Crawl" (Need I say more?) Its a 25 day, 21 pub/bar trip that also spans 11 countries. It begins in Dublin (Well, were else would you start? I mean, c'mon..its dublin) at the"Stag's Head", and ends Klaipeda, at the Trys Mylimos. ( Eine! Zwei! Zofa!) 2) "The best of Europe in 2 mont...

I just want to ask and hopefully end the waiting, wondering, and guessing. Am I, or am i not going to be released from confinement? I've been here for nearly five months. Ive done better. I've emailed a few times and have gotten no replies. Perhaps I am missing the original intent of my confinement. Which i thought it was: Quit lying, quit spamming. Correct? I've quit lying. I've nearly quit spamming. (I admit i had a slip up awhile back) Overall i am doing just fine. Perhaps i am out o...

What will Bush's legacy be? Shall history paint him a "cruel tyrant " who trampled liberties. Or a leader who had to do the shit shovelling . His time in office has been filled with success and failure, such as: Plame Incident, WMD Incident,etc... I believe that comes down to each and everyone's personal view. Whether filtered by party or other, that's (IMO) what it will come down to. History books will try as they might to remain neutral and simply give the facts. "These are...

NOTE: This is a few thoughts/look at the "axis of evil" regardless of political reasons,etc... Lets take a look at the three nations that comprised the "axis of evil". North Korea Iran Iraq Now, right off the bat, which one would you choose to invade? Now, lets examine these nations during the 2000 statistics. (Primarily military statistics) North Korea: North Korea has the world's fifth-largest military, with more than 1 million active-duty personnel. The...
